2009 Dates: May 23th & 24thThe year 2009 marks the 11th annual Amsterdam Cup. This year a total of between 160 and 200 teams from different countries (especially Holland and the United Kingdom) will be accepted to participate. The tournament is open to all teams that are members of their F.I.F.A. affiliated national associations.
The tournament is held on different sports facilities in Amsterdam and surroundings on both grass and artificial soccer fields. All matches are played on both Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th.

Tournament Regulations
The Amsterdam Cup is sanctioned by - and will be played according to the regulations of the KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) except for cases as mentioned specifically in the tournament regulations. See tournament regulations.
Trophies & Pennants
Teams that become number 1 to 4 (in both the A- and B- finals) receive a trophy*. At registration all participants receive a pennant, as a souvenir of the tournament.
It is highly appreciated to give your opponents one of your club pennants (if available) before each match. Please note this is not compulsory!
* Please note this may differ per age group depending on the number of teams particiating.
